Dances are special events for our school community! In choosing to attend this event, you and your date/guest choose to abide by all Knoxville Catholic standards including dress code. We expect that you will be courteous and cooperative. For those students bringing a Non-KCHS guest, you are required to complete the Guest Agreement form below. Thank you and Go Irish!

Diocese of Knoxville Dress Code:

Gentlemen: Young men are expected to wear formal evening attire that would include a tuxedo, suit with a tie, or sport
coat and slacks with a tie, and dress shoes.

Ladies: Young ladies are expected to wear formal evening attire that would include a formal evening gown, cocktail
dress, or other similar dresses or formal ladies’ slacks with formal ladies’ blouse or sweater. Formal evening attire should
be modest. Formal evening attire may not expose a bare midriff or have a side slit higher than the tips of the wearer’s
fingers when the wearer’s hands are at the sides. The top portion of a dress or shirt must be appropriately modest
covering that which should be covered. Cocktail or other shorter dresses should be no shorter than 2 inches above the
knee. Young ladies may not wear tuxedos, men’s suits, or any suit coats nor may they wear a tie. Young ladies may wear
a cardigan sweater, long or short.
